THE STEMINIST CLUB AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON SEEKS TO:

  • Provide mentorship from UW undergraduate women in STEM to elementary-school and middle-school children in the Seattle School District to help promote underrepresented groups in STEM.


  • Create a community to empower & support UW women who are STEM majors or minors, as well as for UW students interested in STEM / who support the movement of diversifying STEM fields.


  • Establish connections with Seattle businesses and leaders in major STEM companies and organizations

Sign up to speak on one of the panels at one of Seattle's high schools or middle schools! Younger students, especially girls, look up to us as diverse and determined college students. Every one of our members offers a unique perspective that would be very valuable on a panel, where you would share your experiences, inspirations, and hardships related to the STEM field.

It's that time again, when midterms and homework start to pile up. We would like to offer a time for our members to study together and get to know one another!  Join us for snacks and encouragement!

SEATTE'S WOMEN'S MARCH

The Womxn’s March Seattle Stands United AGAINST Anti-Semitism and Transphobia and FOR Seattle’s Marginalized Communities
All are welcome to join us and walk through Seattle to come together as a community and listen to speakers at the conclusion of the march.
